The problem

Betfred has 1400 retail shops and an online presence that is supported through a Customer Service Team at their Birchwood Head Office. Betfred found they had minimal capacity and traction from their activities to fulfill 16 + vacancies in this team.

These entry level roles are often the door to internal progression, which leads to a high turnover rate for Customer Service Advisors. These roles are also highly competitive, with candidates having multiple job options to choose from, which also adds to the high turnover of candidates. This is a large team working 5 days out of 7 on various shift patterns.
